Unsuccessful
Well I figured today would be a great day to get a lot of school work done and boy was i wrong. it was beautiful out so I spent some time enjoying the weather, working out, cleaning, and taking care of a beautiful 12 week old lady. I attempted to work on my post I had t make for my class today and Evelyn just didn't want that to happen. As I was thinking of reliable online sources and thought of youtube. I don't know how credible the site could be but they don't allow copyrighting themselves. The unrealiable part is the fact that absolutely anyone has the ability to add a video. While I was clicking away at the site I came across the story about Tyler Clementi. He was the college freshman from a university in New Jersey that committed suicide after being cyber-bullied by his dorm roommate and a friend. I am just shocked at how things like bullying are evolving along with the newest technologies. Bullying used to be just by your older siblings and then by a few kids in school and now anyone in the world can bully someone once there is shred of instigating online. According to Associated Press (a link from the YouTube Blog) there has been 12 cases in the U.S. since 2003 of teens committing suicide due to cyber-bullying. A roommate and I were discussing the tragedy and wonder what will happen to make these things stop or even what will these tragedies accumulate to in the future. Will there ever be world peace? I don't think there will be. That is pretty pessimistic of me but I feel that as long as there are human emotions, and jealousy in the world this will always fuel a fight. But that is for another day. I am off... there is a baby girl crying for me. What a beautiful sound!!! Until next time--- Take care!!

Having children has changed me in ways that I can't describe. I worry about my children...being bullies or being bullied. There is so much to worry about as a parent that a person could go mad with worry. Each age has it's own set of challenges. Hang in there, mommy. Grin.
